Cimzia® is indicated for reducing signs and symptoms of Crohn's disease and maintaining clinical response in adult patients with moderately to severely active disease who have had an inadequate response to conventional therapy. Most common side effects
Swelling, weight gain, rash, upper respiratory tract infection, urinary tract infection, and joint pain
Other
There have been reports of serious infections associated with certolizumab pegol, including tuberculosis (TB) and other infections such as viruses, fungi, and other bacteria that have spread throughout the body. On rare occasions certain types of cancer, including lymphoma, have been reported.
